Please be aware that Dr. Gruenn only sees patients living in California. 

 

EMERGENCIES

In case of a medical emergency call 911 or go directly to the nearest emergency room. If you need to reach Dr. Gruenn outside office hours please call 805.798.1006 and leave a message and Dr. Gruenn will be paged.

 

HOSPITAL PRIVILEGES

Dr Gruenn does not practice hospital medicine. 

BILLING FEES

All fees are due when services are rendered. The staff will provide you with a superbill that has the information your insurance carrier needs to reimburse you. 

 

LAB RESULTS and REPORTS

If you are sending test results or other documents for your visit with Dr. Gruenn, please email these in PDF format to office@drgruenn.com or assistant@drgruenn.com or send via fax 805-910-3486 .

Dr Gruenn will only call you with the results of lab tests if they contain critical values and need immediate attention. Otherwise we will call  you once we receive your lab results to set up a follow up appointment.

 

CHANGING OR CANCELLING APPOINTMENTS

We have a 2-business day Cancellation policy. Should you fail to cancel in time, you will be charged 50% of the service fee. Same day cancellation/No Show Appointments will be charged 100% of the service fee. (Business days are Monday through Thursday

(9:00 am - 4:00 pm, lunch1:00 to 2:00 pm).

 

RENEWAL OF MEDICATIONS

To refill your medications please have your pharmacy FAX us a refill request at :

 805.910-3486 (Both Offices)

  

Renewal of medication should be done well in advance. Dr. Gruen will not refill medications after office hours or on weekends  when your medical record is unavailable for review.

We cannot refill your medications unless you schedule a follow up visit with Dr. Gruenn every 12 months.
